Frequently Asked Questions
1. How soon do I need to place my order?
Typically, we need one week notice for standard orders, AND a minimum of two-week’s notice for custom orders. However, we do tend to book out especially on the weekends. The sooner you can place your order
Please feel free to always call in and check if we have availability. We strive hard to accommodate any order, but cannot guarantee if given a late notice.
2. Do I need to refrigerate my cake?
It depends on the decorating techniques used. If it’s a standard order, you may leave it out of the refrigerator up to 3 days before serving, as long as it is not near a heat source, ( i.e. heat vent, window, oven, etc.) After serving, it is recommended that you refrigerate your order, especially if it has a specialty filling inside.
3. Do I need to pay for my order in advance?
We do require a 50% non-refundable deposit to reserve your order. The balance is due two weeks prior to your event. If your order is accepted within the two week limit, the full balance is due immediately which includes the 50% nonrefundable deposit.
If you cancel your order, your balance payment may be used as a credit towards a future order provided Jeff’s Sir-Cakes-A-Lot is given notice at least 5 business days prior to your event. There is no payment refund on orders canceled within 5 business days of your event.
* Please note, we will not make any obscene or x-rated cakes.
